Privacy by Design

Avoiding costly privacy risks, building customer trust and protecting your organisation’s reputation by ensuring compliance and implementation of privacy by design systems and processes

26-27 Sep 2019
Sydney, Australia

Why You Should Attend

Privacy by Design

Australian organisations have been targeted in more than 800 notifiable data breaches throughout 2018, impacting millions of individuals. Every organisation and system holding, or handling personal information faces risks if safeguards and good privacy governance processes are not established.

Privacy compliance can sometimes be complex, however organizations who invest the time to take a proactive privacy by design approach to systems, projects and operations are rewarded with enhanced trust from all their stakeholders and clients, and more effective operations and services.

This interactive training will help you understand what steps to take in order to ensure your organisation is set up to comply with privacy laws and you are equipped to spot potential privacy risk areas, before they result in data breaches.

You will explore how to practically embed privacy by design approach within your organisation and utilize best-practice and scalable privacy risk management techniques underpinned by compliance frameworks
